Accelerating leadership in rural Australia
A range of scholarships are on offer for the Australian Rural Leadership Program, and applications are now open.
Established in 1993, the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) is one of Australia’s longest running and most prestigious development programs, designed to accelerate leadership capability in people committed and contributing to rural Australia.
Held over 50 days, across four sessions in 15 months, the ARLP develops leadership through a series of unique immersive experiences (delivered in real-world contexts) to allow participants to develop the adaptive skills to confidently overcome challenges and embrace opportunities.
Scholarships on offer for Gippsland women
Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is currently offering professional development scholarships for Food & Fibre Gippsland members.
The scholarships are open to women across all areas of the Food and Beverage sector.
Animal health webinar
Agriculture Victoria is hosting a webinar this Friday to assist livestock producers impacted by the recent Gippsland storms and floods.
It’s an opportunity to learn more and respond to animal health and nutrition needs as the affected parts of the region recover from the severe weather event.
Held from 1-2pm on Friday afternoon, (July 9) there’ll be a number of topics discussed, including animal health problems and nutritional considerations for livestock impacted by a flood event.
Backing Health of Farm Businesses
The Victorian Government is working alongside farmers to ensure they are at the forefront of agriculture’s digital revolution with a new state-wide program.
Minister for Agriculture Mary-Anne Thomas has launched the $10 million Digital Agriculture Investment Scheme as part of the Enabling the Digital Agriculture Revolution Program.
Grants of up to $50,000 are available to assist eligible farm businesses to invest in on-farm digital technology projects to improve productivity, resilience and long-term viability of their farms.
