TAFE Gippsland Education Awards celebrate our youth

It was a pleasure for the Food & Fibre Gippsland team to attend the TAFE Gippsland Education Awards night this month. We always welcome the opportunity to share the success of our youth as they build their skills and prepare for careers in our sector.

Vocational Student of the Year Awards

  • Horticulture & Agriculture – Leanne Farley (East Bairnsdale) – no photo because she was unable to attend.

  • Animal Studies – Bianca McCrea (Cranbourne North) - – no photo because she was unable to attend.

 Apprentice of the Year Awards

This special evening brought together TAFE Gippsland’s vibrant learning community to acknowledge the individuals who go above and beyond in their pursuit of excellence.

From classrooms to workshops, and from frontline support to leadership roles, the TAFE Gippsland Education Awards honoured those who demonstrate passion, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference.

The Awards shone a spotlight on the very best in vocational education and training – highlighting the hard work, resilience, and success of those who inspire others and shape the future of our region.Whether they’re just beginning their journey or have years of experience behind them, each nominee represented the values and spirit that define TAFE Gippsland.
