GIPPY Ag Programme connecting with future generations

   Thursday 16th May, 2019

The next generation of food & fibre professionals and entrepreneurs across Gippsland are in schools right across the region now, and Food & Fibre Gippsland, together with CQ University, is working hard on showcasing scientific and digital skills needed in the agricultural industry to attract the next generation workforce.

Our GIPPY Ag programme is reaching out with student learning experiences to give them insights into how their skill sets could be used in the sector.

Headed up by Dr Amy Cosby, this programme is engaging with teachers and students to increase the knowledge and appreciation of the opportunities in the agricultural industry, and by doing so, broaden the awareness of the career pathways available.

If you own, or are involved in a business in Gippsland that has the capacity to offer food & fibre experiences to primary or secondary aged students, we'd love to hear from you - you can connect with Amy via email - acosby@cqu.edu.au

To read more about all the modules available to both for primary and secondary students - grab a copy of our flyer - if you have any question and would like talk with AMy about what might be possible in your school - all her contact details are in the flyer !
