Covid Safe Planning for Gippsland's Horticulture Industry

   Thursday 4th February, 2021

COVID-19 Safety is as important as ever.

Join Authorised Officers from the Department of Health and Human Services at the Stratford Mechanics Hall next Tuesday 9th February from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

They'll be talking about what they look for in a COVID Safe Plan and the additional requirements that are being asked of the Horticulture industry.

This opportunity to meet with the DHHS officers is being offered in advance of a "Compliance Blitz" being undertaken from February onwards.

This Compliance Blitz is a collaboration between WorkSafe, the DHHS and Labour Hire Authority.

The DHHS Team is here to help and will be available in the Gippsland region from the 8th to the 10th of February to provide one-on-one support to horticulture businesses.

If you'd like Daniel Getley or Joshua Lees to come visit you on farm to help you with any COVID Safe planning - please contact them at covid-19fieldoperations@dhhs.vic.gov.au

Light refreshments will be provided at the info session on Tuesday night, but if you can't make it to the Stratford Mechanics Hall, live stream access will be available.

To RSVP to be there in person or to get live stream access, contact Bonnie Dawson on 0407 683 938 or email her at bonnie.dawson@foodandfibregippsland.com.au
