There is an opportunity for small to medium food and fibre enterprises in Gippsland to fast track their export plans, with an exciting new support program set to be launched. Gippsland Connect will be focused on supporting the participating food and fibre businesses in improving their capabilities and increasing their exports, whilst amplifying their business growth and improving growth for their industry as a whole.
Following on from a successful harvest at the Ausveg Victoria Awards for Excellence held earlier this year, Gippsland is also now home to two National Awards, claimed at the HortConnections Gala Dinner held last week at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
A Gala Dinner will be held in Sale on Friday 16th August to announce the winners of the 2019 Food & Fibre Gippsland Excellence in Agribusiness Awards.
