Hospitality Forum #2

To continue to support the growing number of restaurants, cafes and food destination businesses to connect with the food & fibre sector, in partnership with TAFE Gippsland, we will be holding our 2nd Hospitality Forum this Monday the 17th of February.

We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together again !

Since we last met in the middle of 2019, we’ve been able to tick a few items off our quick wins list and work continues on the bigger ticket items.

We’ll give you an update on all of this on Monday, then get your thoughts and input on the next round of needs and ideas to add to the list.

We’ve got a fantastic agenda of activity and discussion including:

• An innovative presentation about how you can reduce your food waste disposal costs and reduce the amount of food waste going into landfill - and create a product that’s good for the environment at the same time.

• A demonstration of an easy to use new App to order fresh local produce through - that can save you time and money.

• The introduction of a new segment where two of our producer members will showcase their product, giving everyone the chance to sample it as well as find how and where it’s distributed around the region.

  • The products being showcased at Monday’s forum will be Gippsland Jersey’s amazing new cultured butter….spread on delicious fresh baked SeaSalt Bakery Artisan Sourdough bread !
